2003 Design, Preparations for construction
July 2003: The design documentation was completed. BesidesCOOP HIMMELB(L)AU as the architect and chief consultant responsibility also lies with some 30 subconsultants involving a total of 120 architects and engineers.
2005 Steel construction, Topping out ceremony
Work on the steel and fassade construction is moving along.
The highlight of the construction will be the topping out ceremony of the BMW Welt on July 1, 2005.
2006 Completion of construction, Interior work
Completion of construction, second-stage building work, detailed interior design work.
Opening winter 2006/2007
